Cars have names that cut across the board but the new 2016 Honda Fit is as literal as its names. The amount of things that can fill in this seemingly tiny subcompact hatchback is nothing short of amazing. The legroom at the back has increased in this version and has adapted to latest technology. Throw in the excellent fuel economy and you have a car that stands out in this segment.
Interior and Exterior Features, Redesign
From the outside, the Japanese manufacturer’s 2016 Fit looks much like the previous model 2015 Honda Fit, the inside though has significantly changed in size and luxury. The rear seat can be folded forward or behind to create more cargo space at the back. The interior received upgrades with leather upholstery and keyless ignition. The new touchscreen display is 7 inches and the audio system has six speakers. There is also an upgraded rear view camera to assist with parking. It comes with traction control, antilock brakes and front and side airbags and head restraints. It also comes with a passenger side camera to help the driver view the blind spot when the right turn signal is engaged. For most people the driver space is adequate though for those with long legs, it may be a bit uncomfortable.
This latest Honda Fit is lighter as its made of high strength steel and thus more fuel efficiency. The wheels have plastic covers and are 15 inches. It has more chrome trim and fog lights. It comes in a variety of colors: blue metallic, silver metallic, black pearl, Milano red, steel metallic, yellow pearl, berry pearl and white pearl. The hood is short while the roofline is long giving it a longer appearance. With the improved suspension and a longer wheel base, the car is much more enjoyable to drive.
Engine and Mileage Performance, HP

The transmission is manual with six-speed automatic transmission is optional. The zero to 60 time is 8.8 seconds. The fuel economy is really good and stands at 29 city/37 highway.
